December 3, 2009—Kill Brand, the burgeoning lifestyle brand based out of Asbury Park, NJ, is teaming up with All Time Low bassist Zack Merrick for a limited edition collection of clothing featuring the original photography of the musician.
From the bright lights of the stage, to the parking lot after the show, to long hauls to the next city, life is different for a musician on the road. It is with this idea in mind that KIll Brand/Kids Into Living Life is proud to collaborate with Zack Merrick for a special fashion collection to be released with the company’s Winter 2009 line.
See life through the eyes of a true road warrior. The pictures tell the story of a band on the run. The excitement, the tension and the anticipation of young musicians on the rise is visible in each frame.
Jonathan Smith, Kill Brand founder and former member of Tokyo Rose, explains how he teamed up with Merrick : “Zack and I were friends first, and he has always supported Kill Brand. I was looking at his computer one day and I said, ‘This picture is so sick who took it?’ He said, ‘Oh, I just mess around in my spare time and take photos while I’m on tour.’ We thought that collaborating his prints and our clothing would be a great outlet for people to appreciate Zack’s photos, instead of just having them hung on a wall.”
